Glafeli is an AI-powered knowledge management platform. It connects your existing information sources — Drive, Notion, Confluence, SharePoint, email — indexes and organizes them automatically. You and your AI agents can query that knowledge with traceable, cited answers and the correct permissions.
Does Glafeli replace my current tools?
No. Glafeli does not replace Drive, Notion, or Confluence. It connects them. Your teams continue using the tools they know; Glafeli acts as the unified knowledge layer that indexes, governs, and makes everything that is scattered queryable.
How long does implementation take?
The initial source connection takes between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on volume. The first knowledge index is operational the same day. Configuring permissions, approval workflows, and additional knowledge areas happens incrementally over the first few weeks.
What file types and sources can it index?
Glafeli indexes text documents (PDF, Word, Google Docs), spreadsheets, presentations, wiki pages (Notion, Confluence), emails, and support tickets. Native integrations include Google Drive, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Notion, Confluence, Slack, and Jira, among others.
How does it handle access permissions?
Glafeli inherits permissions from your original sources. If a document in Drive is only visible to Finance, it will not be visible to other teams in Glafeli either. Permissions are automatically synchronized with your corporate directory (Google Workspace or Active Directory) without additional manual configuration.
How do I know the agent's answer is correct?
Every answer includes exact citations from the source documents with a direct link to the original fragment. There are no answers without documentary backing. Administrators can also configure validation workflows so that certain types of content require human approval before becoming available as a source.
How is Glafeli different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers with general knowledge trained on the internet. It knows nothing about your organization unless you paste text into the chat — and what you paste is not traced, governed, or available to the rest of your team. Glafeli answers exclusively with your organization's knowledge, with an exact citation of the source document, correct permissions, and complete traceability of every query.
And how is it different from Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a powerful productivity tool within the Microsoft ecosystem — it summarizes meetings, drafts emails, and can search SharePoint and OneDrive. But it has concrete limits when the goal is real knowledge management:
1. It only works inside M365. If your organization uses Google Drive, Notion, Confluence, Slack, or Jira alongside SharePoint, Copilot cannot access those sources. Up to 90% of your knowledge may be out of reach.
2. It retrieves, it doesn't govern. If a document in SharePoint is outdated, conflicts with another, or has no owner, Copilot includes it in its answers anyway. Glafeli requires content to pass a validation workflow before becoming an active source — the answer is only as good as the knowledge backing it.
3. Copilot Studio agents have a limit of 100 SharePoint files or sites per agent (Microsoft documentation). Organizations with large repositories need complex multi-agent architectures.
4. Indexing thousands of files can take days or weeks, according to Microsoft. Glafeli prioritizes active sources and has them available the same day.
5. Copilot is a generic productivity assistant. It does not distinguish between the knowledge of Legal, Sales, and Operations with different approval workflows per area.
When does Copilot make sense? If your organization runs 100% on M365 and you primarily need productivity assistance. When does Glafeli make sense? When knowledge is distributed across multiple platforms, you need real governance — versions, owners, validations — and your teams or AI agents need traced answers, not just semantic search.
Does my data leave my region?
By default, processing and storage occurs in certified infrastructure in the region the client selects. We offer data residency options in North America, LATAM, and Europe. AI model queries are processed through providers with zero data retention and no use for training.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Upon cancellation, you have 30 days to export your configuration, metadata, and indexed content. After that period, the data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from all Glafeli systems. You can request written confirmation of deletion.
Is there English-language support?
Yes. The Glafeli team provides full support in English. Technical support, onboarding, and customer service are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 (CLT), with a guaranteed response in under 4 business hours for Business and Enterprise plans.
Can I start with a pilot area before expanding?
Yes, and it is the recommended approach. Most clients begin with one area (legal, operations, support) and expand progressively. This lets you validate value with a small team before a broader rollout, without affecting the configuration or permissions of the rest of the organization.
